Congratulating the Chambers shortlisted, Colm Blake, Head of Insurance Marketing at Zurich Ireland, the main sponsor of the awards, commented, “These Awards are an opportunity to reward the excellence of the Chamber network and their members; particularly for the work they do to promote the long-term development of businesses in their communities so that they are better places in which to live, work and do business. We are thrilled to reinforce our commitment to helping the Chambers celebrate these achievements in Ireland.”
Remarking on being included in the shortlist, Chamber President David Walsh said he was “delighted that Dungarvan Chamber & partners have been recognised for their proactive collaboration which has enabled the progression of tourism locally. It is a testament to each of the parties involved that this enterprising and effective partnership has made so much progress in the last five years. We appreciate that this initiative requires cross agency support and consider this to be integral to the growth of tourism in the area.”
