Notice of Commencement of Audit 2022
In pursuance of the Local Government (Financial and Audit Procedures) Regulations 2014, I hereby give you notice that I shall commence the audit of Waterford City and County Council on the 9th day of June 2023 and I hereby require you to make available on that date all the accounting books and records duly made up and balanced to the 31st day of December, 2022.
I shall require to be satisfied at the commencement of the audit that the provisions of regulation 14 of the said Local Government (Financial and Audit Procedures) Regulations 2014, have been complied with.
