Proposed Traffic Calming Scheme Junction improvement at Crottys Corner, Dungarvan

Notice was hereby given, pursuant to Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act 1994, that Waterford City and County Council proposes to undertake the construction of a junction improvement and traffic calming scheme at Crottys Corner, Dungarvan. This will be achieved by constructing a raised junction platform and shared surface along with four No. zebra crossings with Belisha beacons at each of the roundabout approach roads. The scheme also includes improved road signage and road markings. The main goal is to achieve speed reduction through the roundabout as well as providing a safe environment for pedestrians and cyclists. The implementation of this scheme will create a safer environment for all road users.

The drawing of same was available for inspection below but due to the Covid-19 restrictions was not on public display in our office buildings.
