Proposal to rename “Church Road, Lisduggan” to “Slí an Athar Gréagóir/ Fr. Gregory Way”

The following proposal was agreed by the Metropolitan District Council at their meeting on 20th June, 2022
that the name of the road from the junction with Paddy Browne’s Road to the St. Paul’s Church junction be renamed as Slí an Athar Gréagóir/ Fr. Gregory Way in honour of the first parish priest of the Church.

The area proposed is the L 90579-3 Church Road from it’s junction with the L1515 Paddy Browne’s Road, as set out on the attached drawing.  

A copy of the drawing will also be available to view in the Customer Services Departments in Davitt’s Quay, Dungarvan and Bailey’s New Street during normal office hours and on the Council’s website below.

Objections or submissions on the proposal may be made in writing to Aideen Jacob, Administrative Officer, Roads Department, Menapia Building, The Mall, Waterford or by email to ajacob@waterfordcouncil.ie not later than 4pm on 29th August, 2022.
