Proposed Part 8 development of ground-floor unit of 120 Parade Quay, Waterford

In accordance with Part XI of the Planning & Development Act 2000, as amended, and Part 8, Article 81 of the Planning
& Development Regulations 2001, as amended, notice was hereby given to Waterford City & County Council of proposed development of the ground-floor unit of 120 Parade Quay, Waterford, X91 WY9X.

Proposed development of 120 Parade Quay (ground-floor unit, 113m.sq) will consist of;
a). Change-of-Use to Place of Assembly
b). Removal of existing partitions and fittings, and internal reconfiguration of ground-floor unit to provide a fully
functioning licensed restaurant, to accommodate up to 50 persons.
c). Conversion of an existing window facing onto Greyfriars, to a glazed doorway to facilitate outside-dining on
d). Remedial work to the existing Parade Quay shopfront façade, plus supporting works to include
i). temporary construction signage, ii) associated drainage connections, iii) and all associated site works.

The building is not a Protected Structure but stands within the ‘Trinity Within’ Architectural Conservation Area, and
General Conservation Area of ‘Waterford City’.

Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection or purchase at a fee not exceeding
the reasonable cost of making a copy, from 1st November 2022 up to and including 1st December 2022, and during
office-hours, at: Customer Care Offices, Waterford City & County Council, Baileys New Street, Waterford.

A copy of the plans and particulars of the proposed development may also be viewed below.

Written submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development, dealing with the proper planning
and sustainable development of the area in which the development is situated, may be made in writing to arrive no
later than 15th December 2022, to:
