Waterford Winter Firedance to light the skies around Waterford City and County

Waterford Winter Firedance will light the skies around Waterford City and County with a spectacular seven-minute Sky Firedance fireworks display at 9pm tonight (Tuesday, December 21st 2021) – the longest evening of the year – The Winter Solstice.With locations throughout the city and county – Waterford city, Dungarvan, Kilmurrin, Ballymacarbry, Ballyduff Upper and Cappoquin you can enjoy the fireworks display staying safe and socially distanced. So make sure you wrap up warm, keep your pets indoors, and you’re guaranteed a great view of the magical fireworks display wherever you are in the city or county…whether that’s from the comfort of your own home, your garden or from your car!To facilitate the fireworks production in Waterford City the Quays will be closed from 8.30pm to approximately 9.30pm.  While some delays can be expected, Gardaí and stewards will be at major junctions to assist with diversions.Waterford Winter Firedance is funded by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Media & Sport and produced by the Arts Service of Waterford City and County Council.
