Our Crisis Management team are currently meeting in City Hall to assess potential weather impact on services across Waterford City & County.
- While our offices are open today, we ask that members of the public do not attend today for scheduled appointments.
- We are concentrating on the delivery of essential services and keeping essential/primary routes open.
- The Metropolitan Council Meeting scheduled for today is cancelled.
- ‘Ophelia’ is projected to be at its peak for our area at approx. 2-4pm.
- Citizens are advised NOT to travel and remain indoors during the period in which the Status Red weather warning is in place.
- Our Customer Service lines are manned – 0761 10 20 20.
- Our E-mail contact@waterfordcouncil.ie, is being monitored.
- Social Media is manned from 7:30am.
