ALERT: Car Parking offer has ended
Waterford City and County Council has worked in partnership with all car parking providers across Waterford City to provide an extra hour’s free parking throughout June and July.
This initiative was supported by all local providers including the Clock Tower car park, City Square Waterford, Euro Car Parks, iPairc, Port of Waterford and Waterford City & County Council. We extend our thanks to all for their support and alert customers that the offer has ceased, yesterday Friday, 31st July. The concession for Scanlon’s Yard, Dungarvan also finished Friday, 31st July.
Pay & Display Machines will be reconfigured for today, Saturday 1st August and signage removed.
The purpose of the initiative was to encourage people to Shop Waterford and Support Local and the initiative proved popular with businesses and shoppers across Waterford.
The car parking providers have agreed to continue to work collectively to consider further similar initiatives in support of the “Shop Waterford, Support Local” campaign in the future.
