Notice of Proposal to Make Tree Preservation Order No. 1 of 2016
Waterford City & County Council as planning authority gives notice that it intends to make an order under Section 205 Planning and Development Act 2000, as amended in accordance with the draft set forth in the schedule to this notice preserving and
protecting and prohibiting the actions stated to be prohibited in relation to the trees specified in said draft order as set out in the schedule to this notice.
A copy of the proposed TPO is available for inspection at the following locations from 10th November 2016 until 22nd December 2016:
• Planning Department, Menapia Building, The Mall, Waterford City.
• Planning Department, Davitt’s Quay, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford.
• www.waterfordcouncil.ie
Submissions or observations regarding the proposed order may be made on or before 22nd December 2016 and all such submissions or observations will be taken into consideration by Waterford City & County Council as planning authority.
Any person who contravenes an order or, pending the decision of the planning authority, a draft order under Section 205 Planning and Development Act 2000, as amended shall be guilty of an offence.
