R675 Inner Ring Road (at Supervalu) is flooded. Waterford Fires Service is tending to the scene. The road is currently closed, with diversions in place.
Waterford City and County Council ground crews are monitoring the situations at:
- R675 Annestown
- L5520 Green Road
Both roads remain closed this morning, with diversions in place
With spot flooding reported on many roads, motorists are advised to slow down; increase stopping distances and watch for surface water and debris on roads.
Avoid driving through flowing or standing water and if the road ahead is flooded, do not enter, turn around and find another route.
Motorists are also reminded to be conscious of vulnerable road users such as pedestrians and cyclists.
